This is my hello world blog post for Orbital Games. It's not very likely that you just happened to trip over your shoelaces to get here, but if you did let me tell you a bit about Orbital Games.
We're located in Sierra Vista at the corner of Fry and 6th next to the Black Rose Too tattoo parlor and are open every weekday at noon until at least 8, but we stay open as long as there is something going on. On the weekends we open at 9am and again stay open until everyone goes home. The phone number here is (520) 335-2440
The shop has two joined sides with retail being on one and 6 4'x8' gaming tables on the other. We have a good selection of sandwiches, snacks, and drinks to keep you fueled for gaming and also have Wi-Fi set up in the store.
Weekly events are:

- Monday- Orders are gathered up and availability at distributors is confirmed.
- Tuesday- Orders go out and are due on Friday.
- Wednesday- painting and modelling, pen and paper RPGs, and a weekly D&D campaign
- Thursday- Card game night, we're slowly getting a weekly magic draft group going
- Friday- Board game night
- Saturday- Miniatures games
- Sunday- Games workshop games, Warhammer 40k and Fantasy, Battlefleet Gothic.. etc..
None of these days are exclusive by any means and anyone is free to use any open table unless its a tournament day and we just can't run it without all six.
We are soon to launch the "Beer N Pretzels Game Club" which has meetings on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and allows of aged members to enjoy a couple beers or a bottle of wine with their gaming.
Special order policy:
- We put in special orders only on Tuesdays due to shipping costs.
- Orders over $50.00 are eligible for an online price match, this does include the price of shipping from the e-tailer specified.
- If it's from a small indie company or back catalog items your order may take longer but we'll keep you posted.
- At least 50% of the item cost is paid when the order is placed and the rest when you pick it up.
The Code:
- These are games, they are played for fun. If your game is not fun, try a new one; don't spoil it for others by whining and complaining.
- Cheating steals your opponents' fun and sours your victory; it also means you're pathetic.
- Getting emotional over a game just makes you a child; if you can't lose a game without a temper tantrum, you can't play here.
- Rivalry is okay, being offensive in speech, actions, or stench is not. Everyone's tolerance for obscenity is different, be aware of your audience's tolerance. Mitchum is an absolutely amazing brand of deodorant; if yours won't last until you make it to the game store, try it.
- If I carry your favorite brand of snack or beverage, please let me sell it to you. If I don't carry it, let me know so I can get it. This is how I pay the rent on the table space.
Specials:
- 10% military discount on retail, 8.85% on drinks and snacks.
- Price matching for items in store as far as Tucson.
- Online price matching for special orders over $50.
- Watch my facebook for sales, sometimes they only last an hour, or sometimes they last the month.
- Specials don't stack, you will receive the offer that gets you the best price.
- Specials don't apply to consignment items.
- Members of clubs, meet-ins, and other collective gaming groups with a roster of members and a website get 10% off if they host a weekly event in the store.
Consignment:
- Items to be consigned must be primarily game related.
- Bring in your items, we'll help you determine prices if you don't know.
- Let me know if you allow customers to test drive your items (you break it you buy it in effect).
- When your item sells or when a customer gives a fair offer we will contact you on the phone number given.
- You have a choice of 80% in cash or 100% in store credit for the price of your items when they sell.
